1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon soda
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup grated coconut

Cooking Instructions:

Cream shortening and sugar together; add beaten egg. Sift together dry ingredients and add coconut. Combine into mixture alternating with cream. Mix well and drop by teaspoons on greased baking sheets. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 15 minutes.
