Makes 3 dozen cookies
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter (or margarine)
2 heaping tablespoon of peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons cocoa
3 cups quick oats
Prepare work surface with plastic wrap.
Combined sugar, milk, butter, and peanut butter in medium sauce pan and bring to a rolling boil for 2 and a half minutes. Start the timer from the time the mixture begins to boil (stirring continuously).
Remove from heat, then add vanilla and stir in the cocoa.
Add the oatmeal and combined thoroughly.
Drop by spoonfuls on plastic wrap and let cool.
