3 eggs
1 cup sugar + 1 table spoon sugar
1 3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon anise seed
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Whip eggs and sugar at high speed for 30 seconds. Sift together flour and baking power. Add flour mixture to eggs and mix 3 minutes. Add anise seed while beating. Lighting grease and flour cookie sheets. Drop by tsp. onto cookie sheet. (they can be close because they do not spread while baking) Set tray aside to dry for 8-10 hours (overnight is good). Bake at 345 degrees or 8-10 minutes.
